Dr Bahaa Abdelmegid Obituary

Dr Bahaa Abdelmegid, a poet, author, translator, and a very dear friend, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday 13th December 2020.

He was a Lecturer in Poetry and Director of the International and Cooperation office at the Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.

His most recent book was published in Egypt in 2020.

Dr Bahaa translated some of my poems into Arabic and was always supportive of my work. The sharing of poetry and literary fiction formed a great bond between us.

I will miss the phone conversations with him and his beloved wife.
